Wahmi is a temporary email service. This page explains what we collect, what we do not, how long it lasts, and who can reach it. It is short because the service is simple.
No account, no signup
You do not create an account to use Wahmi. We never ask for your name, phone number, personal email address, or any payment details. There is no password, because there is nothing to log into.
Your temporary address is generated in your own browser and kept in local storage until it expires, purely so that reloading the page does not lose the inbox you are waiting on. That value is never sent to us as a profile and is not used to track you.
What is actually stored
When a message arrives at a temporary address we store it as the sender sent it: the temporary recipient address, the sender address, the subject, the message body, and the time it arrived.
- We do not store your IP address alongside messages.
- We do not link messages to a person or a device.
- We do not read or analyse messages for commercial purposes.
- We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.
Deleted after thirty minutes
Every message is permanently deleted thirty minutes after it arrives. The deletion is automatic and scheduled; it does not wait for you to ask. Once it has run there is no copy to recover — not for you, and not for us.
The temporary address itself is offered for thirty minutes from the moment it is created. You can also clear an address at any time with the delete button, which removes its messages from the database immediately.
Receiving domains
Temporary addresses are issued on mohmol.org and tempp-mail.org. The wahmi.net domain receives no mail at all and is used only for the website.
A temporary inbox is public by nature
A temporary address is not a secret. Anyone who knows it — or who guesses at random addresses — can open it and read whatever arrived during the retention window. That is true of every temporary mail service and is not a flaw particular to Wahmi.
So do not use a temporary address for anything you care about: not banking, not government identity, not work, not any account you may need to recover later, and not any message containing personal details.
Cookies and analytics
We set no tracking cookies and run no analytics that identify individuals. What is kept in your browser is the temporary address and your language choice, and clearing site data in your browser removes both.
Infrastructure
The site and the mail handling run on Cloudflare: the pages, the inbound mail processing, and the database that holds messages for their short life. In that role Cloudflare acts as a data processor on our behalf, and its own terms cover the network logs it keeps for operational and security purposes.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
Changes to this policy
When the behaviour of the service changes, this page changes with it and the date above is updated. There are no email notifications, because we hold nobody’s email address.
